Electrical Technician

As per the Ministry of Manpower, the minimum wage for welders in Egypt is 8000 Egyptian Pounds per month as of January 2026. Overtime pay must be calculated at 1.5 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 8 per day. This applies to all private sector welding roles registered under labor law.

As per the Ministry of Manpower, welders must hold a technical diploma from a vocational training center and at least 2 years of documented experience. Certification in arc or MIG welding from an approved institute is mandatory for industrial positions starting January 2026.
