Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering expertise to the design team, ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead the review and evaluation of Plumbing and Fire Protection designs, specifications, and plans to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
• Offer innovative solutions to complex Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering problems and provide guidance on best practices for building mechanical systems.
• Develop advanced Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering designs for complex building projects.
• Use advanced design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to create detailed Plumbing and Fire Protection plans, schematics, and layouts, and oversee the work of junior mechanical engineers.
• Ensure Plumbing and Fire Protection designs integrate seamlessly with architectural, structural, and MEP (HVAC and Electrical) systems.
• Review and interpret building codes, regulations, and standards to ensure project designs meet all legal and safety requirements.
• Familiar with all Saudi codes and standards especially civil defense requirements.
• Develop and implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of Plumbing and Fire Protection designs to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the engineering design team, architectural design team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Arrange and facilitate meetings for the design team with suppliers and technical advisors to discuss project requirements and technical details.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project team members.
• Prepare advanced Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering reports, documentation, and presentations to support project planning and decision-making.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering progress, technical issues, and compliance matters.
• Prepare and review minutes of meetings for internal technical discussions.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvement and innovation in Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering designs and processes.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance project quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior Plumbing and Fire Protection engineers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify training and development needs within the team and provide opportunities for professional growth.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
• Strong knowledge in medical gases systems and all healthcare special water supply and drainage systems.
• Good knowledge in infra structure wet systems specially storm water systems.
