Job Description
Job PurposeTo lead and manage all safety, security, and emergency response operations at UOB LIVE. This role ensures the venue’s infrastructure, personnel, and processes comply with safety regulations, ISO standards, and industry best practices while maintaining a secure and efficient environment for staff, partners, and guests.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Security PlanningDevelop and implement the venue’s annual safety and security strategy aligned with operational and event risks.Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.Lead scenario planning and coordinate security for high-profile events and VIP visits.2. Emergency & Crisis ManagementServe as the lead authority during emergencies, including fire, evacuation, and medical response situations.Design and execute quarterly emergency response drills and maintain updated crisis management and business continuity plans.Coordinate with government and emergency services when necessary.3. Technology & Surveillance OversightSupervise the maintenance and upgrade of CCTV, access control, alarms, and emergency systems.Work with IT and Procurement teams to enhance venue-wide surveillance and emergency preparedness systems.4. Security Operations & Staff OversightManage the performance of all internal security staff and contracted security personnel.Oversee the Security Control Room and daily operations of surveillance and response.Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence across shifts.5. Compliance & Audit ReadinessEnsure full compliance with ISO standards, Thai occupational health and safety regulations, and company SOPs.Prepare documentation and lead internal and external safety audits.6. Vendor & Budget ManagementManage service contracts with third-party security vendors and oversee performance KPIs.Monitor and control operational budgets, keeping variance below approved thresholds.7. Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and evaluate the performance of the Assistant Security Manager and shift supervisors.Facilitate training in emergency preparedness, fire safety, and first aid (AED use, evacuation procedures).QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Security Management, Occupational Safety, or related fieldMinimum 8–10 years in security operations, venue management, or emergency planningExperience with high-footfall venues such as malls, arenas, or event facilities preferredKnowledge of Thai safety regulations and ISO 45001 or ISO 9001 is an advantageCertified in fire safety, crisis management, or first aid is a plusStrong command of Thai and English; effective communication and incident reporting skillsProven leadership and vendor management experience
