As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the minimum wage for drivers in Turkey is 28,500 TRY per month as of 1 January 2026. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate beyond 45 hours weekly. Night shifts from 20:00 to 06:00 add a 25% premium on base pay.

As per the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, applicants need a valid C1 or CE class license plus SRC 2 or SRC 4 certificate issued after 2025 training. Minimum 2 years documented driving experience is mandatory for intercity freight roles. Medical fitness certificate from authorized hospitals must be renewed every 5 years.

As per the Turkish Employment Agency, applicants must submit national ID, driver's license, SRC certificate, and SGK service statement. A clean criminal record certificate dated within the last 6 months is also required. Applications are processed only via e-Devlet linked İŞKUR profiles.

As per the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, drivers are limited to 9 hours daily and 45 hours weekly with mandatory 11-hour rest between shifts in 2026. Annual paid leave is 14 days after the first year, increasing to 20 days after 5 years. Tachograph records must be kept for 1 year.
