Job Description
ResponsibilitiesSupervise steel structure fabrication and erection activities on site in line with project specifications, schedule, and safety requirements.Monitor the EPC contractor’s work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, engineering designs, and technical specifications.Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and ensure quality and safe execution of steel works.Provide technical support to the construction team on steel structure installation and related engineering matters.Review steel structure drawings, method statements, and technical documents when required.Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication and erection to avoid delays.Ensure all steel works are carried out according to approved procedures and project standards.Support quality control activities to maintain required construction standards.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.8–12 years of experience in supervising steel structure fabrication and erection, preferably in petrochemical or similar industrial projects.Experience in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environment is an advantage.Knowledge of steel construction manufacturing and erection practices.Familiar with steel-related ASME and EN codes and standards.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
