Security Officer

As per the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE), the minimum basic salary for security guards under approved private sector contracts is AED 2,000 per month as of January 2026. Employers must provide additional housing allowance of at least AED 500 and overtime at 125% of hourly rate after 8 hours daily. Total monthly earnings typically reach AED 3,200 including benefits.

As per MOHRE, international applicants require employer-sponsored work residence visa valid for 2 years, renewable, with permit issuance fee of AED 300 and medical fitness test costing AED 370 as of 2026. The process takes 5-10 working days via MOHRE online portal after job offer and contract approval. Labour ban check via MOHRE app is mandatory for applicants from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

As per MOHRE labour regulations, candidates need minimum high school diploma or equivalent, age 21-55, and no prior criminal record. Entry-level positions require completion of 5-day Basic Security Training Course costing AED 1,700. At least 1 year relevant experience preferred for higher pay grades.

As per MOHRE, employers submit passport copy, visa application form, medical report, and employment contract via TAMM platform for approval within 48 hours as of 2026. Workers provide attested educational certificates and 3 passport photos. Approved contract signed before visa stamping at GDRFA costing AED 450.
