The right candidate will be a mechanically minded person who will play a critical role in ensuring our customers needs are met by servicing, inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and preventative care of our products including loaders and attachments.Field Service Technician ResponsibilitiesPerform routine repairs, maintenance, and service work Detect, diagnose and troubleshoot faults by disassembling the equipment and determine most appropriate outcome or solutionReassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaced parts/assemblies Perform maintenance services such as oil changes, flow and pressure tests to achieve optimum performance of productCarry out delivery goods on site as required; dealing professionally with customersDevise test procedures and supervise test activitiesComplete daily repair logs and communicates with supervisor/managerCompletion of all paperwork relating to the completion of jobs, including timesheets, service reports and other required informationProviding exceptional customer service at all timesExperience And Qualifications Proven working experience as a service technician; relevant trade qualification preferred Be analytically minded and have strong problem-solving abilities; Ability to fault find Strong mechanical aptitude, hydraulics experience and knowledge is advantageousPossession of a current forklift ticket and a manual driver licenceExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to be adaptable, displaying a high level of integrity, honesty, reliability and confidentiality at all timesBasic computer skillsCompanyOpportunities for career progression and additional trainingFree EAP service for staff and their familiesFitness AppExclusive offers for well-known/leading brands and company’s Wellbeing toolkits Assessments and support programs covering Financial, Mental, Physical and Social WellbeingStaff events such as company BBQs, Christmas Parties etcWhilst not essential, product knowledge in earthmoving attachments will be an advantage, as is an understanding of hydraulics, motors and electrical circuits.
