Both globally and in Australia, Palfinger provides superior technical support, parts availability and after sales service.We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fitter/Boilermaker to join our skilled Installations team based in Wacol.Key duties includePerforming modifications and installations for new or used vehicle loading cranes and hook loadersAssembly and disassembly of vehicle loading cranes and hookloadersAssembly of RHS subframes in line with engineering specificationsAssisting other workshop installation fitters with new crane or hookloader installs.Completion of all quality and process control documentationInstallation of ancillary electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components associated with pre delivery inspections or installationsAlways working in a safe manner and adhering to site policies and procedures in order to enhance the safety culture & performance of the site.To Be Successful, You Will NeedPrior experience working in a similar industryHold a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent; Experience working on heavy vehiclesExperience with cranes and or hook loaders an advantageAbility to interpret drawings and proceduresHave strong attention to detail and quality workmanshipHave strong communication and interpersonal skillsHave demonstrated ability to work safelyHave good time management and work prioritisation skillsBe able to work in a teamHave a current Drivers licence, HR preferable; Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and a National Police Check.What's On OfferA competitive salary packageAccess to employee benefits account including discounts on groceries, electronics and moreAccess to Employee Assistance ProgramAccess to an annual Health and Wellbeing reimbursement programMonday to Friday rosterSupportive team and a clean, organised Workshop environment
