Job Description
Position Summary:This role will provide service to all customers in the area of maintenance and breakdown repairs to machines, hand tools and the development of the machines and consumable market.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Comply with all customer safety requirements, including on site safety inductions and the use of PPE where required.Adhere to all company standards and policies.Service and repair equipment and hand tools at client premises including equipment supplied by competitors.Support equipment installations and provide training to customer’s operations and maintenance personnel.Visit/service agreement customers as per their service agreement and other customers as required.Perform diagnostic checks and troubleshoot problems and faults with equipment and hand tools.Prepare ad-hoc and monthly service reports as required.Administer documents associated with assigned service jobs.Assist sales staff with preventative maintenance agreements and to market service agreements.Develop the machine and consumable products market with the end consumer.Minor account management and occasional technical demonstration with existing and new business.Look for opportunities for future development of the business relationship.Maintain and manage stock inventory as per company guidelines.Ensure the company vehicle is maintained in a clean and presentable standard at all times.Other duties as directed by Management.Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities:To work with care and consideration for health and safety of oneself and the health and safety of others.To follow safe working practices and procedures adopted by the Company.To report to Manager/Supervisor immediately, any workplace hazards or any incidents/injuries or near misses.To work with the Occupational Health and Safety Committee to improve the health and safety in the workplace.To use protective equipment issued and to maintain it in good working order.Qualification & Certification (if applicable)A Current driver’s license is mandatory.Qualification in the mechanical field is mandatory.Should possess right to work in AustraliaSkills and Experience Experience in PLC’s, pneumatics, hydraulics is desirable.An electrical qualification (disconnect/reconnect) is desirable.Maintenance background, mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.Communication SkillsPossess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
