Job Description
The open road isn't for everyone. If it's for you — read on.Long haul driving is one of the last genuinely independent jobs left. You're making decisions on your own, managing your run, solving problems before they become someone else's crisis, and covering ground most people only see from a plane window.CHILL is a national cold chain logistics business running interstate freight across the Sydney-Melbourne-Brisbane corridor. We're looking for an experienced HC driver who treats the job like a profession — because that's exactly what it is.The runRegular interstate routes. Overnight stays are part of the role and built into the schedule so you know what your week looks like before it starts.Temperature-controlled freight means the standard is higher than a standard line haul run. That's who we're looking for.RequirementsWhat we're looking forA current HC licence and a clean record. Three (3) min to five (5) or more years of interstate or long haul experience. Comfortable with delivery tech — POD systems, vehicle inspection apps, temperature logging. This role suits someone who is self-sufficient, methodical, and takes pride in a clean run. We're not looking for someone who needs managing on the road. Some of the other (but essential) details: HC licence (with no driving disqualifications within the last 3 years and BFM certified)Forklift ticket (advantageous) paid for loading and unloading your vehiclePhysically fit, to lift between 5-20kgs.
