Please read the Job Description.Packing Shift Supervisor – Night ShiftLocation: Braeside / Dandenong South, VictoriaAbout The RoleReporting to the Packing Manager , the Packing Night Shift Supervisor is a critical front-line leadership position responsible for ensuring the Packing Department operates efficiently to meet production targets. The primary purpose of this role is to create quality products through the utilization of a diverse team. You will provide essential guidance in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and cost control, while driving continuous improvement to consistently raise team performance.Key Responsibilities Include:Production & Productivity: Manage all aspects of the packing shift to meet or exceed the production plan while minimizing the wastage of resources.Operational Efficiency: Ensure lines meet desired run rates and that changeover/cleaning targets are consistently achieved.Team Leadership: Manage the Packing team through effective training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.Quality & Compliance: Supervise packing processes to ensure all products meet required quality standards and maintain full GMP compliance.Documentation & Reporting: Review completed batch documents for correctness, contemporaneously prepare Deviation Reports, and perform root cause analysis where appropriate.Safety & OHS: Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others, ensuring compliance with all work practices and policies.Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure all are aligned in achieving operational goals.Continuous Improvement: Participate in LEAN programs and contribute suggestions to improve working efficiency and solve daily problems.About YouYou are a disciplined leader who leads by example and has the integrity to do what is right.
