You will carry out duties which include working as a first responder for all maintenance activities including effective repairs as part of the rectification team, planned and preventative maintenance.The role works Day shift only with the span of work hours between 6am to 6pm. Flexible availability for start time is required as it can vary. You will receive your roster in advance to help you plan your week. The hourly base rate offered by the role is $48.71. Key ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain hydraulic piped systems, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.Study and interpret building plans and inspect structures to assess materials and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe repair/installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.Undertake minor construction tasks.Use relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.Assess the risks associated with the position day to day activities and report any hazards.Serco is a place for you.In this role, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving and attention to detail. You are able to manage time and work independently while taking personal responsibility for resolving customer problems.Key Skills And ExperienceDemonstrated experience using all types of plumbing materials, I.E.
