In this role, you will work on overhead cranes and hoists, carrying out inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, modernisations and breakdown support across a range of customer sites.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in lifting equipment and industrial services, working with advanced technology while being supported by a highly experienced technical team.Job DescriptionPurpose of Position: Be able to carry out thorough Inspection services to various makes and models of standard cranes. Work independently on repair, field modernisations and installation jobs on standard equipment. Be able to identify and source all parts from the Konecranes Store. Be able to offer standard repair and field modernisation solutions to customers. Be able to attend emergency breakdowns, identify and repair faults on standard cranes. Have a good understanding of Konecranes products and services. Have a broad understanding of Konecranes Company, Safety and Risk assessment procedures. Be able to identify and contact local Support Functions and Global Technical Support channel if required. Broad understanding of Australian Standards.QualificationsSpecialised requirements – Qualifications/licences: Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate & Restricted Electrical Licence. Current and valid Driver Licence. Working at Heights competency. Elevated work Platform Ticket.
