International applicants require a Temporary Work Permit (Article 75) followed by a Residence Permit sponsored by an employer, processed via LMRA as of 2026. The permit costs BHD 200 for issuance and BHD 4 daily levy paid by the sponsor. Processing takes 5-10 working days after medical tests.
Q What are the eligibility criteria for cleaning staff jobs in Bahrain without prior experience?
No formal education or experience is required for unskilled cleaning positions; applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a medical fitness test per MLSD guidelines effective 2026.
