labour plumber and electrician needed for a contracting company

As per the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the minimum salary for plumbers (ISCO code 7122) is BHD 350 per month as of January 2026. This salary must be paid through the Wage Protection System to ensure compliance. Experienced plumbers earn BHD 550 on average.

Foreign plumbers require a job offer from an LMRA-approved sponsor, a valid passport, medical fitness report, and police clearance certificate. LMRA processes work permits in 3-5 working days for BHD 150 fee, valid for 2 years. Residence permit follows via NPRA for BHD 50.

A technical vocational training certificate in plumbing or equivalent, plus minimum 3 years relevant experience, is required under MLSD classification for skilled trades. Secondary school certificate is the baseline education level. No bachelor's degree is mandatory.
