Job Description
The In‑House Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of Avana’s residential buildings and community spaces. This role ensures that our residents experience a welcoming, well‑kept environment that reflects Avana’s commitment to quality and care. Working closely with Property Management and Operations teams, the In‑House Cleaner supports both routine cleaning needs and project‑based work such as suite turnovers and show‑suite preparation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment and takes pride in creating spaces that positively impact the daily lives of residents. Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas across assigned properties.
• Complete full‑floor cleaning for 3000 Trombley and the 4‑building apartment complex.
• Empty and replace common‑area garbage receptacles.
• Conduct daily garbage and litter pick‑up around building exteriors.
• Support suite turnover cleaning, moving toward fully managed in‑house turnover processes.
• Conduct regular show suite cleans, adapting priorities based on leasing activity (e.g., open houses, high‑traffic periods).
• Perform touch‑up cleans for vacant or newly refreshed suites as required.
• Collaborate with Property Management to prioritize urgent suite needs and ensure readiness for residents.
