Job Description
Delivery Driver Supervisor / $48,000 – $50,000 per year + up to $2,000 performance bonus

About Us:

Founded in 2015, Latte Booth is a mobile espresso bar company dedicated to elevating the coffee experience through creativity, innovation, and genuine connection. We serve corporate events, weddings, brand activations, and more - bringing exceptional coffee experiences directly to our clients across Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.

We are a fast-growing, passionate team that holds ourselves to high standards β€” in the coffee we serve and the operations behind it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About This Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, highly accountable Delivery Driver / Supervisor to lead our driver team and ensure the flawless execution of every event delivery. This is a leadership role with a sleeves-rolled-up reality β€” you will manage and schedule a small team of drivers, enforce safety protocols, and drive routes yourself when needed.

This role is critical to our reputation. When our bars arrive late, unprepared, or improperly set up - our clients feel it. We need someone who takes that seriously and leads by example.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management
β€’ Manage, schedule, and supervise a team of 4–6 drivers
β€’ Ensure all drivers follow company protocols and safety procedures at all times
β€’ Onboard new drivers properly β€” including insurance registration before their first drive
β€’ Identify hiring needs proactively, minimum 3–4 weeks before gaps occur
β€’ Lead from the front - model the standards you enforce

Logistics & Scheduling
β€’ Build accurate weekly shift schedules based on confirmed event bookings
β€’ Attend twice-weekly logistics meetings - non-negotiable, especially during peak periods
β€’ Forecast upcoming demand and flag resource needs in advance
β€’ Manage vehicle assignments efficiently - minimize unnecessary car rentals
β€’ Coordinate with the operations team to ensure every event is covered on time

Event Execution
β€’ Drive routes and assist with deliveries when needed - this is a hands-on role
β€’ Oversee timely delivery, setup, and pickup of mobile espresso bars and equipment
β€’ Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained, and event-ready at all times
β€’ Hold drivers accountable to punctuality and client-facing professional standards
β€’ Interact with clients in a friendly, professional manner on-site

Safety & Compliance
β€’ Enforce all company driving and safety protocols without exception
β€’ Ensure all drivers are registered on the company insurance policy before operating any vehicle
β€’ Document and report any incidents immediately and accurately
β€’ Maintain clean vehicle logs, delivery records, and operational documentation

Qualifications
β€’ Minimum 3 years of experience driving a large van (Ford Transit or similar), making deliveries
β€’ Previous team lead or supervisory experience - you have led people, not just driven routes
β€’ Valid Full G Driver’s License with a clean driver abstract - required
β€’ Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment
β€’ Fluent English - strong communication with drivers, clients, and the internal team
β€’ Available weekends, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - these are our busiest days
β€’ Punctual, detail-oriented, and organized under pressure
β€’ Experience with scheduling or basic fleet management tools is a plus
β€’ Passion for coffee and hospitality is a bonus!
β€’ Comfortable working with digital tools for scheduling, delivery management, and team communication. Experience improving operational systems or initiating new processes is a strong advantage.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Non- Negotiables:

We will be direct: this role requires someone who follows protocol, shows up to meetings, plans ahead, and holds their team to the same standard. If you need to be reminded to do your job - this is not the right fit.
β€’ All drivers must be registered on the company insurance policy before operating any vehicle. This is non-negotiable.
β€’ Logistics meetings are mandatory - especially when things get busy. That is exactly when they matter most.
β€’ Hiring needs are your responsibility to flag early - not to reactively scramble for.

If you take ownership seriously, lead by example, and hit your targets β€” we want to hear from you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why Latte Booth:
β€’ A fast-growing company where your work has real, visible impact at every event
β€’ A passionate, collaborative team that takes coffee and operations seriously
β€’ Health Spending Account (HSA) - $1,000 annually
β€’ On-site parking at HQ
β€’ Discounted coffee - obviously
β€’ Room to grow as we expand across Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal
β€’ Salary commensurate with experience - $48,000 – $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience + up to $2,000 annual performance bonus upon achieving KPIs.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Truck driver jobs qualify if the offered wage meets or exceeds the provincial/territorial median hourly wage of $26.44 nationally. Exemptions apply for intra-company transfers but not typically for drivers.

Q What documents are required to apply for truck driver jobs in Canada?
Applicants must submit a resume, valid commercial driver's licence (e.g., Class 1/AZ), 3-year driver's abstract, criminal record check, and employment references. For new immigrants, include work permit, SIN, and passport. Applications are submitted online via employer portals or Job Bank, with interviews requiring proof of logbook experience.
