About the Role

Unity Recruitments Inc. is currently hiring an experienced MIG Welder for our client in Mississauga. We are looking for a skilled and reliable individual with strong welding experience who can produce high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
β€’ Perform MIG welding on steel and metal components according to specifications
β€’ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
β€’ Set up and operate welding machines and related tools
β€’ Inspect welded surfaces and ensure quality standards are met
β€’ Grind, clean, and prepare metal surfaces before and after welding
β€’ Measure and align materials accurately for welding
β€’ Maintain a clean and safe work area
β€’ Follow workplace health and safety procedures
β€’ Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements
β€’ 2–3 years of MIG welding experience required
β€’ Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
β€’ Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
β€’ Experience using grinders, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment
β€’ Strong attention to detail and quality control
β€’ Good communication and teamwork skills
β€’ Ability to lift heavy materials when required
β€’ Reliable and punctual
