Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper packing techniques are employed to prevent damage during transit.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload goods as required.
• Utilise the warehouse management system for tracking inventory and managing stock levels effectively.
• Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and correctly labelled.
• Engage in picking and packing activities, preparing orders for dispatch in a timely manner.
• Maintain organisation within the warehouse by stocking shelves and ensuring products are easily accessible.
• Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks as necessary, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times.

Qualifications
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of materials handling processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous for efficient operations.
• Experience in shipping and receiving procedures is beneficial to streamline workflows.
• Proficiency in picking and packing processes, demonstrating attention to detail in order fulfilment.
• Mechanical knowledge will be an asset when operating equipment or troubleshooting minor issues.
