Building Guard

As per the Public Authority for Manpower, the minimum recruitable salary for expatriate security guards is KWD 275 per month as of January 2026. This includes basic wage plus allowances, with overtime paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 48 per week. Contracts must be approved by PAM to ensure compliance.

Foreign security guards require a work permit sponsored by a Kuwaiti employer, processed through PAM with a fee of KWD 15 as of 2026. The visa is valid for 2 years, renewable, and requires employer payment of KWD 60 health insurance annually. Applications must include attested medical fitness certificate from approved clinics.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1 year of relevant experience as per PAM guidelines effective 2026. Physical fitness test and no criminal record are mandatory. Kuwaiti nationals need only basic training certification.

Required documents include a valid passport copy, 6 passport photos, attested academic certificates, medical report, and employment contract as listed by PAM for 2026 submissions. All non-Arabic documents must be attested by the applicant's embassy and Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Submit online via PAM portal with KWD 5 processing fee.
