Delivery Driver positions in Salalah

As per the Ministry of Labour Oman, the minimum wage for Omani drivers with secondary education certificate is 450 OMR per month effective January 2026. This excludes accommodation and transport allowances which add 100-150 OMR. Overtime pay is 125% of basic hourly rate for first 4 hours daily.

Foreign drivers require employer sponsorship through the Ministry of Labour portal, a valid job offer, and attested home country driving license. Initial work visa is valid for 24 months, renewable for 24 months up to 10 years maximum. Employer pays 20 OMR application fee and provides health insurance.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Omani Category 3 or 4 driving license, and have minimum 2 years driving experience. Medical fitness certificate from approved clinic and no more than 12 black points on record are mandatory. Omanis need secondary school certificate for preference in Omanisation quotas.

Required documents include passport copy valid 6 months, attested driving license from home country, police character certificate, medical fitness report, and 4 passport photos. Employer submits these via MOL e-service for work permit approval within 5 working days. CV with 3 references and bank statement for last 3 months also needed.
