As per the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), the minimum wage for Saudi nationals in private sector roles including security guards is SAR 4,000 per month as of 2026. Foreign applicants need a work visa sponsored by a licensed Saudi employer, approved via HRSD's Qiwa platform, costing SAR 7,200 for a 12-month work permit as of 2026. The visa must be converted to an Iqama residence permit within 90 days of arrival, with annual renewal fees of SAR 650. Employers handle the application after job offer.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, physically fit with minimum height of 165 cm for males, and have no criminal record as per HRSD and MOI standards effective 2026. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least 6 months of relevant experience preferred for Saudis. Mandatory 40-hour security training from TVTC is needed before licensing.

Applicants need a valid National ID or Iqama, high school certificate attested by MOI, medical fitness report, and criminal record clearance as listed on Qiwa for 2026 registrations. Saudi nationals submit via Absher, while foreigners provide passport and visa approval. Contracts must be approved on Qiwa within 48 hours of signing.
