Security officer for Warehouse (Eastern)

As per the Ministry of Manpower, under the Progressive Wage Model for the security sector, the minimum qualifying monthly salary for Security Officers is S$2,800 effective from 1 May 2025 and remains applicable in 2026. This basic salary excludes productivity incentives and variable payments. Employers must pay at least this amount for new hires.

Foreigners require a Work Permit for security guard roles, administered by MOM, with a minimum salary of S$2,800 under PWM. The monthly levy is S$450 for workers under 45 years old in the services sector. Quotas apply based on employer size.

As per the Singapore Police Force, applicants for Security Officer Licence must be at least 18 years old, medically fit with no disqualifying conditions like colour blindness or poor vision, and have no relevant criminal records. No minimum education is required. Foreigners must hold a valid work pass.

The Police Licensing & Regulatory Department requires NRIC or passport, recent photo, medical examination report, and proof of passing the SOL written exam (fee S$70). Licence application fee is S$50, valid for 2 years upon approval. Submit via GoBusiness Licensing portal.
