Overview

IMMEDIATE HIRE * HOME EVERY WEEKEND

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills. The candidate will have a dedicated route from Houston to Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
• Drive assigned vehicles to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Operate tractor trailer with flat bed trailer.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported.
• Follow designated routes while being adaptable to changes as needed due to traffic or other conditions.
• Utilize manual transmission when necessary for specific vehicle operations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Qualifications
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type being operated, 1 year driving experience, and 6 months of flatbed experience.
• Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation logistics.
• Ability to operate various types of trucks including forklift operation as needed.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
