As a Security Guard - Swing Shift Highrise in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy hotels and resorts location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will monitor activity from the desk, manage access control and visitor check-in, issue badges, and document incidents with clear communication. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by greeting arrivals, verifying identification as required, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests, vendors, and deliveries to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor lobby activity and front entrance conditions, helping to identify and report unusual behavior and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, coordination with site management, and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete required logs and reports such as incident reports, shift activity reports, and visitor records, and communicate key information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:
• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
