As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

β€’ Set schedule: Full time, Wednesday through Sunday, 2nd shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard
β€’ Must be able to walk, stand, sit or climb stairs for long periods of time.
β€’ Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
β€’ Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
β€’ Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
β€’ Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
β€’ Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
β€’ Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
β€’ Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
β€’ Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard
β€’ Must have a valid IL PERC
β€’ Be authorized to work in the U.S.
β€’ Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
β€’ Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
β€’ Strong report writing skills
β€’ Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
β€’ Strong proficiency with technology
β€’ If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
β€’ You have a state license if required
