Job Description
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
• Start-up and running of processing plant.
• Maintenance of equipment.
• Fault finding.
• Order spares, follow up on orders.
• Daily attending to breakdowns in processing plant.
• Maintaining and implementing the continuous improvement programme (20 keys) as well as the Health, Safety and Environmental programme.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Qualified Electrician (Red Seal).
• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Experience and knowledge of PLC’s.
• Experience of MEYN evisceration equipment will be advantageous.
• Must be computer literate – MS Office.
• Ammonia experience will be advantageous.
• Must have driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Initiative and ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment, a willingness to learn as well as personal and professional integrity are key requirements.
• Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
• The candidate should be hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
• Ability to cope under pressure.
• Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts and/or standby.
• Fluent in English and another language will be preferable.
