Job Description
Our company is a New Germany–based plumbing business seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, deadline-driven Junior Bookkeeper with strong computer skills.

A minimum of three years’ experience in a bookkeeping role is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Overseeing the preparation of cash books
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Maintaining, reconciling, and processing inter-company loan accounts
• Managing and maintaining the General Ledger
• Assisting with BEE procurement processes
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Submitting all statutory returns
• Managing petty cash
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Loading and processing bank payments
• Preparing for and assisting with internal and external audits
• Full bookkeeping function up to balance sheet

The ideal candidate must demonstrate accuracy, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
