JANITORIAL/ SANITATION CLEANER- 4 PM Positions

K-Bro Linen System Inc. operates a large, modern, commercial laundry facility located in Mississauga. We offer stable, long-term employment with excellent growth opportunities in a friendly work environment.

Location: 6045 Freemont Blvd, Mississauga ON

Hourly wage range- $18.03/ hr (Rates to go up to $18.57/ hr on July 1st!)

Shift- 5PM to 1:30AM

Responsibilities

K-Bro Linen and Systems is looking to hire 4 hard-working janitors who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our plant. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties of our facility. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning manufacturing plants, cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

Job Duties:

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the plant.

Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, lunchroom, offices, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant and emptying trash cans or recycling bins.

Empty all waste containers in plant.

Cleans, sanitize and Stock restrooms.

Washes windows and mirrors.

Clean and disinfect various equipment.

Air blow rail systems, top of dryers and other machines.

Perform other duties as required by the department Managers.

Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Experience: 1 year in janitorial services. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Work permit must be valid for 1 year.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

Must be physically fit with the ability to lift, carry and move heavy items

Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment

Excellent stamina and physical health

Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic

Basic WHMIS training. (will be provided)

Basic verbal and written communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Frequenting walking, bending and lifting.

Nail polish / long artificial nails and heavy makeup are not permitted.

Hair net and clean uniform must be always worn during work period.

Steel Toe shoes must be worn.
