• Protect the safety of thousands of travellers every day
• Conduct passenger and carry-on baggage screening in compliance with national aviation security standards
• Safeguard restricted areas by maintaining strict access control
• Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats
• Accurately document and report incidents, violations, and safety concerns
• Support coordinated emergency response operations when required

Qualifications Required for an Airport Security Screening Officer
• Be legally eligible to obtain required aviation security clearance (RAIC), which requires Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of background checks with a clean criminal record
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English
• Ability to work on-site at the Mississauga airport location
