• *What You'll Do**

As a Security Officer at Kingsway Mall, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, staff, and the public.

Your Duties Will Include
• Enforcing mall policies and municipal, provincial, and federal laws
• Working alongside EPS, EMS, and EFD
• Conducting lawful arrests under Section 494 of the Canadian Criminal Code and enforcing the Trespass to Property Act
• Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid
• Managing conflict situations and applying approved use-of-force principles when necessary
• *Training & Equipment**

Successful candidates will complete an intensive 3-week in-house training program before being assigned to independent duties.

• Two-way radio communications

Job Requirements
• **Security license is required**
• **Security experience is highly preferred**
• **Class 5 Advanced or higher license is required (Class 7 or Class 5 GDL not accepted)**
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong observational skills
• Ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk 18/20km and stairs.
