About the Role:We’re looking for an experienced and safety-focused Line Mechanic to join our Construction and Maintenance team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliable delivery of electricity across our network from constructing and maintaining overhead lines to operating key equipment up to 33kV. If you take pride in practical, hands-on work and want to contribute to essential infrastructure, this could be the ideal role for you.Role Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical lines, ensuring all work meets customer, project, and network requirements. You will contribute to developing work plans for the construction, servicing, and upgrading of electricity lines and associated equipment, while also installing and replacing overhead conductors and pole structures as needed. Your responsibilities include overhauling non-load-bearing pole hardware in electrical networks up to 110kV and operating both ground-mounted and structure-mounted electrical equipment for lines up to 33kV.
