Job Description
We are currently looking for an organised and proactive Service Administrator to join a leading public sector organisation. This is an 8 week temporary assignment based in Wellington close to the train station, and is ideal for a highly motivated customer focused individual with a background in administration and / or facilities.About The RoleThis role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of the workplace and the key responsibilities are:Workplace Facilities Management: Maintain high standards for facilities, including managing office/cafeteria equipment and consumables, and overseeing meeting rooms and common areas.Maintenance & Requests: Complete all workplace requests within agreed time frames and liaise with contractors/suppliers to ensure facilities are well-maintained.Security & Safety: Support office security procedures, including site access control and security checks. Support site health, safety, and well being activities, including induction and orientation for new staff.Fleet Support: Provide site fleet management support, including inducting new drivers and overseeing the local pool vehicle fleet.Staff Lifecycle Support (Onboarding/Offboarding): Complete new staff on boarding and staff leaver activities, such as issuing/deactivating access cards and coordinating digital equipment collection.Technical Support: Provide on-site first-level technical/digital support for new staff devices and meeting room technology equipment.Logistics: Manage mail, courier activities, and the inventory of office and digital loan equipmentWhat We're Looking ForExperience in a similar role. You should have a background in a customer service, administration, or a workplace facilities role.You'll need excellent communication skills, strong Microsoft Office and computer skills, and a proactive approach with proven initiative.
