You will report to the Die Setter Supervisor and work closely with the Plastics Operations, Tool & Die, and Maintenance teams to ensure our presses, moulds, and die-sets are optimised and well maintained for high-quality, reliable production.In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will be at the heart of our production set-up and change-over process, contributing to operational uptime, product quality, and cost-efficiency.The Shift Times For This Role AreDay Shift - 7:30am to 4:00pmAfternoon Shift - 3:30pm to 12:00amNight Shift - 11:30pm to 8:00amYou WillCarry out safe, accurate tool changes and machine start-ups in line with production requirementsEnsure products meet or exceed quality specifications and assist with any product quality issuesApply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve die or machine challenges quickly and effectivelyContribute to Lean and SMED activities to reduce waste and optimise change-over timesPlan ahead, manage time effectively, and support flexibility across shifts where requiredPromote and maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping (6S), and teamworkActively support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives within the Plastics teamAbout YouYou’re mechanically minded, proactive, and thrive in a busy manufacturing environment.
