This is a Permanent, full-time position.As a Retail Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of furniture and goods to and from various locations. Your main tasks will include:Pick-up and delivery service:To deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes on behalf of our Retail storesTo load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicleTo help contribute to providing a reliable, timely and professional service to Te Omanga donors and customers, remembering you are representing the company when driving and interacting with customersTo look to resolve any customer issues as quickly and efficiently as possibleTo maintain vehicles and equipment in good working condition and tidyTo inspect vehicles and equipment regularly to ensure in good working orderTo be a supportive and helpful team member To ensure occupational safety and health requirements are observed at all timesTo ensure that the dignity and privacy of customers and donors is maintained at all times Skills and Experiences:Ideally you will have demonstrated experience in customer service and knowledge of a customer service approach. A clean Full Class A Drivers License is essential. You will need to be physically capable of dealing with large and sometimes heavy items, up to a weight of 25kg with the use of approved provided equipment.
