Job Description
• Perform shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) on steel structures, pipes, and metal components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials and set up welding equipment before starting work.
• Inspect and clean metal surfaces to ensure proper welding.
• Perform cutting, fitting, and grinding of metal parts when necessary.
• Ensure strong and accurate welds according to project specifications.
• Conduct visual inspection of welded joints to ensure quality and structural integrity.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, etc.).
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other workers to complete assigned tasks on time.
• Assist in the installation and repair of metal structures, frames, and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized after completing tasks.

Qualifications:
• Must have TESDA NC II Certification in SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding).
• At least 1–2 years of experience in welding works is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret welding plans and drawings.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures.
• Willing to work on construction sites and extended hours if needed.
