Job Description
Technical/Functional Skills
• Operating systems (strong understanding of Windows), Mobile Devices, Networking, VLAN, Wireless, Firewalls, Scripting Proficiency like PowerShell and BAT
• Familiarity with MSI & Legacy installers, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), Microsoft Intune and other proprietary tools like Flexera Installshield.
• Active Directory, Networking Diagnostic Commands, Incident Management Tools, ITSM processes and tools, Analytical Abilities
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in creating and deploying software packages using MSI and legacy installers, with strong expertise in enterprise deployment tools such as SCCM and Microsoft Intune, along with PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) scripting.
• Good to have knowledge on Master Package and PatchMyPC tools.

Troubleshooting the packages in case of failure

Maintaining high quality deliverables

Provide second level support on Application packages, deployment, and windows update issues

Engage with project teams as needed to provide Application packaging and deployment support.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provides IT support for desktops, printers, peripherals, telephone systems, and cellular devices
• Assists client day-to-day functionality and efficiency
• Coordinate desktop security updates to ensure compliance while minimizing operational risk and impact
• Provide forecast of onsite infrastructure (HW and SW) and service requirements.
• Maintain windows updates using SCCM
• Manage and coordinate overall EUC device refresh.
• Administer software distribution tools.
• Conduct system-level testing of Core Software image(s) to validate that they perform in accordance with the approved specifications and can be deployed successfully and operate with all supported applications, equipment and software.
• Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment
• Evaluate, document and maintain alternative scheduling for software packages and implement recommendations which will improve service delivery efficiency and quality.
• Document and support the Virtual PC images (e.g., Citrix, VDI, etc.)
• Create and/or modify scripts & script wrappers, for application installs.
• Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and understand application requirements, and design application packages using best‑practice solutions, approved tools, and organizational standards.
• Configure, install, and maintain complex software applications across enterprise environments.
• Develop application installation packages supporting silent/unattended installs and deploy them to Pilot/UAT users for validation using deployment tools such as SCCM and Intune.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and packaging-related issues encountered during the UAT phase and throughout Production deployments.
