Job Description
A House Keeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and shared spaces within hotels. Their primary duties include but not limited to washing linen, disposing of waste properly and organizing rooms. A Housekeeper does more than sweep, mop and wax floors. They run errands and manage wardrobe as well.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of working experience as a housekeeper or relevant work experience for this role or above is preferred

• College level or Senor High graduate with NC II

• Male or Female

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects

• Keen to details with a commitment to cleanliness, active listening and effective communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and urgency

• Team player, adaptable and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a hotel setting

• Initiative to identify and address cleaning needs proactively

• Ability to read and follow signs and written instructions

• Ability to adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards set by management

•Ability to operate cleaning equipment and stand for long hours

Responsibilities:

•Cleaning and arranging guest rooms

•Washing dirty bedding, clothing and linen

•Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies

•Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them

•Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks

•Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs

•Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs
