Job Description
The Building Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The role supports continuous production while complying with company policies, safety standards, and Philippine electrical codes.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, PLC-related wiring, generators, and production machines
• Install, modify, and upgrade electrical wiring, lighting systems, and control devices
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or equipment failures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and Philippine Electrical Code (PEC)
• Assist in machine commissioning, shutdowns, and plant improvement projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection reports
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support 24/7 operations as needed
• Candidate must possess at least a High School graduate / Vocational Diploma/Electrician NC I or NC II or equivalent
• A deep understanding of electrical principles, including circuits, voltage, amperage, resistance, and wattage.

• Proficiency in installing, repairing, and replacing various electrical components such as :
• Wiring and re-wiring circuits.Installing and replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Working with circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.Installing and repairing electrical appliances.Knowledgeable in Quality Control and Inspection
• Knowledgeable in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
• Knowledgeable in Safety Compliance
• At least 6 mos working experience as Building Electrician or equivalent
• Basic competencies like communication, professionalism, and teamwork
