Job Summary

The Repair & Maintenance Personnel is responsible for performing plumbing, masonry, welding, and general maintenance works to support the efficient operation of the company's water distribution facilities, offices, pumping stations, reservoirs, and other utility infrastructure. The role ensures that water utility assets and facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained through timely preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of water pipelines, service connections, valves, fittings, pumps, and related plumbing systems.
• Conduct leak repairs and assist in the maintenance of water distribution and transmission facilities.
• Perform masonry works including concrete repairs, manhole rehabilitation, pipe encasements, plastering, tiling, and minor civil works related to water utility infrastructure.
• Carry out welding and metal fabrication works for pipelines, pump houses, reservoirs, gates, fences, equipment supports, and other utility structures.
• Conduct routine inspections of company facilities and identify maintenance requirements.
• Respond promptly to repair requests, facility issues, and emergency maintenance situations.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs for utility facilities and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Prepare work accomplishment reports and document maintenance activities performed.
• Support facility improvement, rehabilitation, and infrastructure development projects as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school graduate, vocational graduate, or equivalent technical training.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in plumbing, masonry, welding, construction, utility maintenance, or related technical work.
• Knowledge of water distribution systems, piping works, civil repairs, and welding techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Physically fit and capable of performing fieldwork and manual labor.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Willing to be assigned to various project and service areas as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
• TESDA Certification in Plumbing, Masonry, Welding, or a related technical trade is an advantage.
• Experience working in a water utility, construction, infrastructure, or facility maintenance environment is preferred.
