Join our dynamic facilities team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment. You’ll be at the forefront of creating a positive impression for visitors, staff, and clients alike by delivering top-notch custodial services with enthusiasm and precision.
Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance
• Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently to uphold environmental standards
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly
• Assist with light custodial tasks such as window washing, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
• Support facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs or painting as needed to keep the environment in excellent condition
• Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies safely and effectively to deliver consistent quality results

Qualifications
• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings; industrial cleaning experience is a plus
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting enhances your versatility
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
