Duties
• Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
• Drive route schedules confidently, adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
• Manage documentation such as delivery logs, load manifests, and route sheets with accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure optimal performance throughout each shift.

Qualifications
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling.
• Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual techniques while following safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of route driving strategies and traffic regulations across different regions.
• Experience with freight transportation involving various cargo types such as refrigerated goods or heavy equipment.
