Position Summary:

Folding Guard is seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The Welder will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling our safety and security products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in various welding techniques and a strong commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG and ARC welding to join metals according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to accurately produce components.
• Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Prepare workpieces by cleaning, cutting, and shaping materials as required for the welding process.
• Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate tools and adjusting settings for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished welds to verify they meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Address any defects or inconsistencies in the welding process promptly and report them to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant codes and standards.
• Work closely with other members of the production team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient production processes.
• Provide support to other departments as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed welding projects.
• Proficiency in MIG, and ARC welding techniques.
• Familiarity with various metals and alloys.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a safe working environment.
• Welding certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
