Job Description
Job Title: Structural Welder (Up to 33/hr on nights)

Job Description

As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for welding and assembling skids for modular cooling systems. This involves working with I-beams and other structural pieces to create large skids. A critical requirement is the ability to pass a 3G and 4G MIG root with Flux pass on a 1/2 inch carbon plate weld test.

Responsibilities
• Weld and assemble skids for modular cooling systems.
• Perform welding on I-beams and other structural components.
• Ensure quality and precision in welding tasks.
• Work with the team to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in structural welding.
• Proficiency in MIG and FLUX welding techniques.
• Experience in vertical and overhead welding.
• Ability to perform grinding and gouging tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing shop environment.
• Familiarity with skid welding processes.
• Experience operating an overhead crane.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled. The schedule includes Monday to Friday shifts with some Saturdays, offering both day and night shifts: Day Shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM and Night Shift from 4:30 PM to 2/3 AM.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
