• *Responsibilities**:
• *What we're looking for**: We looking for a Site Security Coordinator: Britos Bakery to join our team. The main purpose of the role is to:

- As directed by the Business Unit leadership and in collaboration with the PepsiCo Office of Global Security, ensure that the businesses in South Africa benefit from effective and sustainable security programs that mitigate risk to our people, assets and objectives while protecting PepsiCo Brands.
- Execute operational implementation of strategic planning as directed by Security Director - Global Security (SA)
- Deputise for the Area Security Manager as and when the situation is required.
- Physically located in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa, the role would serve as a Business Unit asset in responding to all emerging security risks and incidents throughout area of responsibility.
- Role will be responsible for the protection of our people and Assets.
• *Accountabilities**:
The principal accountability of the Site Security Coordinator: Britos Bakery is driving the implementation and execution of security, crisis management, business continuity management strategies, plans and protocols, physical security domains and best practices across his/her areas businesses. The highlights of these accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- In line with the Country broader strategy, implement in his area of responsibility a wide security plan to identify, assess and mitigate risks to PepsiCo’s associates, facilities, proprietary information, and brand/reputation.
- Oversee and facilitate the ongoing strengthening of a sustainable Crisis Management and Business Continuity Planning and capability in his/her area of responsibility.
- Through training and audit validate ensure that in his/her area of responsibility, the different premises Crisis Management and Business Continuity Plans are current and functional.
- Ensure that all locations in his/her area of responsibility are compliant with the country wide physical security plan (technological, Procedural, Manned guarding, Architectural)
- Maintain strong working relationships with, and provide consultation to, local management teams.
- Plan and oversee periodic security self-assessments and bi-annual security risk assessments at the area’s sites in order to identify critical vulnerabilities and to assist in closing these risks through cost-effective, best practice security enhancements.
- In close consultation with the Area Senior Security Manager, analyze security risks inherent in undertaking new business ventures and offer expertise-based risk mitigation measures.
- Within the area of responsibility, develop and maintain working relationships with national and local security, emergency response, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities as well as with security managers of other large multinational companies.
- Ensure compliance with PepsiCo EMEA Security Risk Management System and supporting standards and procedures.
- Develop and deliver security awareness for PepsiCo associates and training programs to security associates.
- Advise and assist before, during and after security incidents, including on-the-spot risk assessments and security advice to business travelers.
- Assist the Area Security Manager in implementing security plans to strengthen the protection of our supply chain (Make/Move/Sell).
- Conduct and coordinate investigations to include counterfeit, extortion, contamination of our products, loss reduction, kidnapping, robberies, Speak Up, fraud, corruption, and security threats against the country’s interests and associates.
- During strike operations or labor disputes provide training to security guards and employees in strike protocols.
- Oversee security guard companies to leverage economies of scale and lower costs. Implement and manage a effective KPI management system in accordance with Sector Security, and evaluate the service provided by the 3P Security providers on a monthly basis.
